‘SIP & PAINT’ WITH MOLTON BROWN
Art is my passion and craft, yet every now and then that charming speed breaker comes along, aka an inspiring event, that relights my love and dazzles my creative energy. As much as I love the sanctuary of my artistic studio, the enchanting feel of connecting with people and brands that carry the same intangible love is a timeless passion staple.
The fascination for me is how one person’s craft can be the perfect gift of love for another. My blissful memo for this was the recent Molton Brown event that I had the honour of collaborating with at their beautiful flagship store on Regent Street, London. Which, got me wondering, what makes the gift of giving so incredibly heart-warming?
THE ART OF GIFTS, THE GIFT OF ART
The art of storytelling is one that instantly has my endorphins elevated and creative mind exploring new realms of visual expression. With each new event comes a passion to blend brand ethos with an enticing essence of joy. It’s certainly an intuitive passion that comes over me when I put paintbrush to canvas. As guests were invited to Molton Brown’s magical event to sip on bubbly whilst exploring alluring fragrances of their new collection, they were also invited to tap into their creative.
The quintessential spirit inspired guests to immerse themselves in the artistic experience as I shared my tips on visual storytelling through illustration and painting. They were encouraged to recreate their own version of my exclusive Molton Brown Christmas Love Stories Illustration that was raffled to one lucky guest! It was a pleasure to see people’s creations and their artistic originality pour into the postcard line drawings that I had provided.
All guests left with a hand-written note from me, Lauren Rogers-Martin, a Molton Brown goody bag and a new piece of artwork created by them, a timeless keepsake. This event was the perfect reminder that although this is a season of festivities, it is also a season of exchanging experiences that can serve as the most memorable gifts.
I love imparting tips on my craft and passion amidst a stylish brand event. The gift of giving was undeniably enriched by the experience and incredible company, making the unique concept of ‘Sip & Paint’ one that I look forward to collaborating on with more brands in the near future.
The art of storytelling enwrapped in the gift of art can be relished by all in their own unique and magical way. All you have to do is fall in love with the essence of your creativity and expression of your imagination first.
